High-pressure pitch, light on specifics
“I asked for numbers and got motivation.”
The first interview felt less like an evaluation and more like a sales pitch at me. When I asked about base salary versus commission split, quota expectations, and average rep earnings, I got motivational language instead of numbers. The group interview format — six candidates in one video call — made it hard to get any individual questions answered. Nobody was rude, and the recruiter was responsive on scheduling, but I withdrew after the first round because I could not get a straight answer on compensation structure. If hustle-culture energy is your thing, this may fit; I needed specifics.
