Manufacturing Engineer · Mid level
Five interviews at Casa Grande, then nothing
“I found out the role was frozen secondhand.”
Referred by a friend on the team. The technical loop was legitimately good: a screen, a deep-dive on my past launch experience, a panel with manufacturing and quality, and an on-site at the Casa Grande plant. The on-site tour was impressive and the engineers asked sharp, fair questions. Then: silence. My recruiter went dark after the on-site. My referral pinged the hiring manager internally and heard "the req is on hold," but nobody ever told ME that. Ten weeks in, five interviews deep, and I found out the role was frozen secondhand. Great engineers, broken communication loop.
